Greetings from Niamey

I don't have much time and the connection is slow, but wanted everyone to know that I'm doing great. Training is very tiring and very fun--I love it here.

The Nigeriens have such a positive and wonderful outlook on life despite having very little to work with. I wish I had time to write more, but I hope you understand. More to come later.

  1. Bonjour!
I was so excited to talk to you on Google Chat today! I know you were happy to meet the government officials in Niamey and are excited about your two-day trip to meet others. It is always so comforting to hear you are doing well. Good luck with your French lessons and with the French keyboards! Until we speak again...
    Je t'aime!

  4. Hi William,
We all think about you and speculate about how you are doing on a regular basis. Thank you for sharing your passion and adventure with the nutty professors here at CHGR.

    Be well,
    Gail

  6. William: Enjoying keeping up with your journey. Glad you are doing good. We have so much and most of the people in Niger have so little yet they have such a good attitude and we typically complain. We take for granted how fortunate and blessed we are. I believe you life will be forever changed by this experience. Wishing you health and safety.

  7. Hi William,
We think of you often and we're so proud of you. Neil and I went to Auburn last Sunday to hear Miles play at Locos. Ryan was there too. I filled them in on your adventures and forwarded your mom's emails to Miles. Take care of yourself
